Software Name, WatchGuard Mobile VPN with SSL client 11.12.2. Version, 11.12.2. Platform, Windows. Vendor, WatchGuard. Architecture, 32-bit.
A couple of thoughts.
First is that it might be good to do some user training for them to say 'No' when the offer to update comes up while connecting. As far as I can tell, there is no way to suppress, the notification, but updating is not required.
Secondly is setting up an alternate route for support if they were to be disconnected from the VPN. ScreenConnect has a free version you can use if necessary, but ideally to support remote clients you should not be relying on a VPN connection, as times will come eventually when they are unable to connect but you still need to support. (ScreenConnect is a great tool, and their paid options are great for local and remote support.)
This question is the obligatory chicken-and-egg problem, and a real pain point of Mobile SSL VPN's. If your WatchGuard has active Live Security, I would suggest submitting a ticket with their support team, as they might have a way around this that I am not privy to.
Hope that helps!

Watchguard SSL VPN v12.0 Installer
Hi All,
hoping someone else out there has already discovered the sourcery required to install WG sslvpn silently (i.e. to be used via GPO and update the v11.12 clients). We used to use /silent /verysilent and it worked as expected - these options do not work in v12! We have several hundred to update, plus any that get build via MDT (which was automated).
Has anyone discovered the switches? I asked Watchguard and their response felt a bit like I'd just kicked their cat.
Thanks in advance
EDIT:
So, i've installed WG SSL VPN (or use OpenVPN as WG version is essentially just rebadged Open) I've then selected 'always trust' on the TAP driver publisher screen. Then i've gone in to MMC-->certs-->trusted pubs and exported the cert as a .cer.
Now in GPO i am using a comp pol to inject it to our client estate for a few days then will deploy the WG SSL client via PS/batch etc.
Worked in testing!
